Train calm, precise and consistent article indication — without unconscious handler cues. The IQ Article Trainer 2.0 matches the size of IGP trial articles and features holes — so you can attach the original articles directly onto the trainer and build indication on the real article.
2.0 update: fully made of metal — trainer and spikes. The spikes are screw-in for soft ground (field, grass, soft ground), removable for concrete and indoor. The previous version with plastic spikes was less suitable for hard surfaces.

BENEFITS FOR THE HANDLER.
- Indication on the real article. Sized to match IGP trial articles — original articles mount directly onto the trainer.
- Prevents self-rewarding. Treats are hidden under the article — the reward stays under the handler's control.
- Maximum focus on the article. A nylon thread through the holes lets you lift the trainer from a distance — no need to touch the article with your hands.
- Adapts to any ground. Spikes screwed in for field and grass, removed for concrete and indoor.
- Rugged metal build. Can be pushed into hard ground without bending.
- Reusable design — simply replace rewards and continue training. No disposable parts.
HOW IT WORKS.
Attach the original article on top. The real article is fixed onto the trainer using cable ties through the integrated holes. When the trainer sits on the ground, the dog sees and smells the actual track article.
Hide the reward underneath. The reward stays hidden underneath the article and is out of reach for the dog. Release is exclusively in the handler's hands.
Optional: transparent nylon thread through the holes. The thread lets you lift the trainer from a standing position to release the reward — the dog stays focused on the article instead of watching the handler's hands.
