Which variant do I need — NORMAL or EXTRA?

NORMAL for scent work, nosework and detection — scent containers on metal surfaces, static blinds. EXTRA is what you need for moving rewards (e.g. when the handler is running) or when the reward is heavy (bite pillows, large protection-blind pillows).

Why does magnetic training make sense?

The dog can take the reward independently. This reduces unconscious handler cues and creates cleaner training sequences — better timing, clearer positions. Also practical: rewards can be placed out of sight — e.g. a bite pillow inside a blind or a scent article during search work.

Can I remove the Magnetizer and use it on a different toy?

Yes. The cable ties can be cut and the Magnetizer attached to another toy. The system is deliberately built to be swappable.

Is the Magnetizer suitable for K9 detection and nosework?

Yes. Scent containers and scent articles can be attached flexibly to metal surfaces. The NORMAL variant is usually sufficient.

Which cable ties are used — and how do I attach them correctly?

Standard cable ties are used — if you run out, simply replace them at any hardware store. To attach: insert the head of the cable tie into the opening first, then feed the thin strap through. Wrap the cable tie around the string or loop, pull tight, cut off the excess end. When the head is recessed, the dog can't easily chew it off. To swap, simply cut through with scissors and use new cable ties.
