Who is the IQ Tactical K9 Out Stick for?

Exclusively for service dog units: K9 handlers in police, military, customs, corrections and authorities. Many service dogs, such as apprehension dogs, are not trained to out. For them, the release is done with the Out Stick.

Which end is used?

The end with the ball tip is the working end. The rounded tip protects against injuries. Hold it by the loop and the knurling.

Why is the Out Stick bent?

The long shaft, the loop and the short arm sit in your hand like two bars. You feel the direction of the working end even in the dark and guide the stick more securely than a straight one. You can also hang it up by the loop and arm.

Can I carry the Out Stick on my vest?

Yes. The loop and short arm work like a hook. Hang the stick in the MOLLE system of your vest or on other gear. You can also attach it to a roll-out system using the drilled hole.

What is the Out Stick made of?

Solid stainless steel with a matte black finish. Diameter 8 mm, overall length 274 mm.

How do I clean the Out Stick?

Wash with water and mild detergent and let it dry thoroughly.
