Training with the Magnetic Position Stick

The magnetic position stick is a technical training tool for precise communication in dog training. It is used in heel work and position work to convey positions to the dog clearly and calmly.

The whip works as an extended arm of the handler. For example, you can build a passive barrier under the dog's head to encourage a higher head carriage and more focus in heel position.

You can also lightly touch the dog at specific body points to build activity, body tension or position changes in a clear way.

The magnetic position stick is explicitly not a correction tool.

Magnetic Carry on Body — Hands Free

A ferromagnetic sleeve is built into the grip area. This lets you attach the whip to a TOP-Matic magnet on your jacket, training vest or multifunctional belt.

The whip stays on your body between exercises, both hands stay free for toy, reward or handling — and the whip is back in your hand the moment you need it.

Note: The whip itself is the training tool. Toy or reward is not attached to the whip.

Recommended Training Setup

We recommend introducing the whip calmly and positively. Many handlers start by gently touching or stroking the dog with the whip so no negative association is built.
