CLEAN & RE-PROOF KIT FOR FUNCTIONAL APPAREL.

The Nikwax kit combines cleaning and waterproofing for technical apparel. Tech Wash cleans technical textiles gently and helps maintain breathability. TX.Direct Wash-In is a waterproofer that revives the water-repellent effect of the outer fabric and restores water beading.

When the outer fabric absorbs water, breathability can be significantly reduced. Regular care with a matching detergent and subsequent re-proofing helps maintain performance over time.

APPLICATION.

• First wash apparel with Nikwax Tech Wash
• Then re-proof with Nikwax TX.Direct Wash-In at 30°C / 86°F
• Hang to dry · always follow the apparel care label

WATER-BEADING TEST.

To check if the waterproofing is still active: hold the apparel briefly under water. If water beads off, the waterproofing is intact. If the fabric absorbs water, it should be washed and re-proofed.
