Waterproof breathable fabric has to be maintained regularly when used. Nikwax is our personal favorite waterproofing agent and easy to use.

If you want to test if it is time to use Nikwax, hold your product under running water (water tap).If the water runs of in little drops, the material is still waterproof. If water gets into the material, it is time to use Nikwax.  

It is easy to use:

simply wash your product as you usually do (hand or machine). Your detergent should not contain perfume or fabric softener. Of course, you can also use Nikwax Tech Wash.
Wash your product a second time adding only Nikwax TX direct Wash-In at 30C.
Don't dry in tumble dryer.
